Harbord Hotel are looking for casual Chefs and kitchen hands for an immediate start to join the team based in Freshwater.

THE FOOD:

We have a strong focus on showcasing beach culture in our food direction across the separate dining and pub areas. We have taken elements to create a Salt, Wood & Smoke offering. Hand-selected the freshest and finest produce, cooked simply and effortlessly over our woodfired grills, woodfired oven and rotisserie.

YOU:

As a member of the Kitchen team, you will be looked at to enhance the guest experience through your exceptional culinary skills and work at a high standard. As an individual, you will be looking to work with an awesome Kitchen team lead by experience Head Chef.

THE ROLE - Will include but not be restricted to:

Possess excellent communication skills

Be cool, calm & collected under busy service conditions

Planning menus, estimating food/labour costs, and ordering food supplies

Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation

Working as an integral part of a close-knit team

Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures

Preparing and cooking food

Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
