JOBS FOR MOB! An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse to join the Gympie Cultural Healing Program to deliver expert clinical leadership and the provision of contemporary, person-centred care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health.

Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Provide supervision and leadership to effectively assess, plan, manage and evaluate client outcomes within the Gympie Cultural Healing Program
• Work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients who have complex mental health conditions, ensuring culturally appropriate care is provided, and maintaining wellness
• Work from a holistic cultural perspective to ensure consumers participate in decisions about their health care and improve their own health outcomes

Under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.

Remuneration value up to $131,900 p.a., comprising salary between $107 960 - $115 604 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6(1)).
