Your Opportunity

We’re seeking a qualified Carpenter to join our Mackay depot, a key regional hub known for its strong economy, coastal lifestyle, and growing infrastructure sector. In this role, you’ll keep schools, public buildings, and essential facilities in top condition, assist with emergency response efforts, and contribute to key community projects. You’ll also work closely with our government partners to identify opportunities and expand QBuild’s services, supporting Mackay’s continued growth.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A valid Carpentry qualification (Certificate III in Carpentry)

A commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

A willingness to use digital tools (yes, even tradies need to check emails!)

A passion for sharing your knowledge and mentoring apprentices
