Are you a Senior Financial Accountant ready to take the next step or already possess leadership experience but craving a larger role and company? This Finance Manager role offers the chance to join a growing and dynamic finance team in Brisbane with exposure to impressive leaders and mentors across the business. Some ad hoc travel may be required.

Reporting to Group Financial Controller, you will lead the day-to-day financial accounting functions across multiple business units and play a key role in shaping best practice across the Group.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the month end close process, ensuring accurate and timely consolidated reporting
• Preparing statutory and management reports in line with compliance and regulatory standards
• Acting as a key contact for external auditors and managing half year and year end audits
• Overseeing tax compliance across income tax, GST, FBT and other obligations
• Ensuring integrity of the general ledger, reconciliations and financial controls
• Drafting technical accounting papers and staying across new standards and business activities
• Leading and mentoring the accounting team, fostering a high-performance culture
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide insights that support business outcomes
• Driving efficiency, automation and process improvements across the finance function

What we are looking for:

✔️ CA or CPA qualified
✔️ 5 plus years post qualified experience
✔️ Strong technical accounting and leadership skills
✔️ Proven ability to manage audits, compliance and reporting
✔️ Background in Big 4 or second tier audit will be highly regarded
✔️ A proactive, commercially minded approach with a focus on improvement
