We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our dynamic team in Melbourne, Australia. As an integral part of our early learning center, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of young children and fostering their growth and development. Temporary position with a maximum term until 10th May 2026.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and implement engaging, play-based learning programs that align with the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
  • Observe, document, and assess children's learning and development, maintaining accurate records and portfolios
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to plan and deliver high-quality educational experiences
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education
  • Contribute to the center's continuous improvement efforts and quality assurance processes
  • Mentor and support other staff members in their professional growth
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.

Required Certifications & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field
  • Qualifications suitable for a teacher under the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010
  • Current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration and Police Check (completed within the last 6 months)
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma management certifications
