The Role

Join a leading nationwide consultancy and make a meaningful impact on energy efficiency. We are looking for an experienced NatHERS Energy Assessor to join our team.

You will be working on a diverse range of residential projects across Australia. We serve architects, builders, designers and owner-builders, so you will be dealing with a variety of clients, all with their own unique project requirements, whilst also providing technical support to our assessors and admin teams.

Work arrangement:

Permanent full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Flexible start time, Monday to Friday).

6-month probationary period.

We are flexible, and open to discuss what schedule best suits you.

Your Responsibilities

Reporting to our Senior Tech Lead, and working alongside our admin team, your duties will include:

Providing quality assurance support on our models and reports

Assisting clients and assessors with technical queries and support

Working as a dedicated consultant for clients on complex projects and reports

Working on NatHERS Assessments, DTS Reports, Performance Solutions and BASIX Certificates

Assisting with the professional development of junior energy assessors

Staying up-to date on the building codes and regulations

Essential Requirements

3+ years’ experience under the NatHERS framework.

The ability to communicate complex solutions with a high level of precision.

Comprehensive knowledge of the NCC Energy requirements.

Full Australian working rights or a permanent citizen.

Advantageous Requirements (Not Essential)

We offer high salary packages for commercial experience.

Experience using HERO (formal training highly desirable)

Experience in producing Section J and/or J1V3 Reports

Experience in producing sustainable design assessments

Experience in Green Star, BESS, Daylight modelling, WSUD, SMP and SDA
