Harry West Flags has proudly been making flags on Sydney Harbour’s foreshore for over 110 years. We’re Australia’s oldest continuous flag maker – and now we’re looking for a friendly, hardworking, and well-organised Customer Service Support person to join our team.
About the Role
This newly created position is your chance to make a real impact. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries, coordinating orders, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. You’ll also set up the systems, processes, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) we need to work more efficiently.
What You’ll Do
Handle customer enquiries by phone, email, and in-person.
Prepare quotes, process orders, and manage approvals.
Liaise with the production team to ensure smooth delivery.
Maintain accurate customer data in our CRM (HubSpot preferred).
Develop SOPs, workflows, and systems to improve efficiency.
Balance competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
About You
Experience in customer service, administration, or sales support.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to create and maintain SOPs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Positive, proactive, and resilient attitude.
Experience with CRMs (HubSpot a plus).
Experience with Tools

Google Workspace
Production Sheet
Xero / Canva basics helpful
ChatGPT, Shopify experience desirable
