About the Position
We are looking for a warm, passionate admin assistant to provide professional administrative support service. You will be working with a team of eight dedicated clinicians and a super supportive part-time admin assistant. You will be based in our Burwood East clinic full-time.
The duties include:
Welcoming clients and visitors, managing appointments via phone and email, completing client triage and intake process
Assisting clients with completing necessary forms and documentation
Processing billing and payments, using medical software (NDIS, Medicare and private claims)
Coordinating clients, correspondence and referrals
Supporting therapists with daily admin tasks and calendar management
Liaising with other care teams such as Paediatricians, GPs, and other health professionals
About You
A proactive, enthusiastic team-player with confidence in supporting a small team to grow
Past experience working in medical/health industry in a similar role with transferable skills
Knowledge and understanding of various funding models (Medicare, NDIS, private insurance etc) will be a major asset to this role
Experience using clinical management software
Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organisation skills
