Our services are all about enhancing opportunities for all community members to participate to their fullest and our diverse program delivery provides excellent opportunities for mental health clinicians seeking an impactful role.
Our Mental Health team is expanding and this is an excellent opportunity for experienced clinicians to help us take our ALIVE (Active Life Enhancing Intervention) program to even more people aged 17 and older who have attempted suicide or are at risk. Clinicians in our team are responsible for delivering engaging, recovery-focused individual therapeutic interventions, support group sessions and educational programs for ALIVE clients and the broader community. We are a multi-site team covering the North and South Perth metropolitan areas - these positions are in our South team working in Rockingham.
We are seeking applicants with:
Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing or Counselling
Registration with AHPRA, AASW, ACA or PACFA
Highly developed knowledge and skills in assessment and counselling, utilising a range of evidence-based therapeutic models
Experience in developing inclusive, engaging group session plans aligned with Low Intensity Psychological Intervention guidelines
Ability to sensitively and skilfully facilitate structured and supportive group sessions that promote connection, recovery and mutual support, ensuring a welcoming, safe environment where all voices are heard
Acute awareness of and adherence to safety protocols and escalation processes
Willingness to provide a national police certificate and a working with children check
The salary range for this position is $44.51 to $50.61 per hour ($87,951 to $100,005 per annum full time equivalent) depending on the qualifications, skills and experience of the successful applicant. Additional benefits include:
