Abrs are partnering with a private practice based near Wollongong, to offer an opportunity to join a growing and supportive private practice that’s entering an exciting new chapter. With fresh leadership and a strong commitment to clinician wellbeing, we’re currently looking for 2–3 Registered or Clinical Psychologists to recruit for this forward-thinking private practice — and hit the ground running.

  There is an immediate client demand and a steady flow of referrals, primarily through established GP networks and increasing website traffic. You’ll step into a ready-made caseload, with flexibility to grow your niche.
• Flexible Work, Your Way
  Whether you're looking for a minimum of 2 days per week, or something closer to full-time, this practice will tailor the arrangement to suit your availability. The Principal Clinician currently works 4 days, and they’re open to various setups.
• Diverse Client Base – Adults & Adolescents
  Current client referrals focus on general presentations – anxiety, depression, and other common mental health concerns. You’ll be encouraged to shape your caseload and pursue your clinical passions.
• Attractive Contractor Model, or permanent employment contracts on offer (Paying $100 - $150k plus super depending on your experience)
  As an independent contractor, you'll enjoy:
• 70/30 fee split (12-month contract)
• Full admin, marketing, and operational support
• Freedom to determine your caseload
• $1,000 self-marketing allowance to connect with referrers in your specialty
• Wellbeing program to support clinician mental health
• Access to profit-sharing – 25% of net profits shared equally across clinicians
• Ongoing Development & Support
• As standard; $400 annual CPD allowance
• Up to $8,000 annually for Clinical Registrar internships or other independent CPD goals
• Tailored support and investment in your career goals
• Collaborative Team Environment
  You’ll join a team of 4 part-time psychologists in a practice that values connection, flexibility, and professional growth, with people who believe in supporting each other — including offering a referral bonus for helping to build the team.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Registered or Clinical Psychologists with AHPRA registration
• Clinicians comfortable working with adolescents and adults
• A willingness to take on a general caseload and explore areas of passion
• In addition- for future planning; someone open to stepping in for a locum role in early 2026 while our Principal Psychologist is on maternity leave
