IronMerge People are currently recruiting WA Qualified Electricians to join our growing team across Mining Village camp maintenance roles in Western Australia.

These positions are suited to WA Trade Qualified Electricians who are looking for consistent 8:6 FIFO work from Perth.

What’s on Offer

• Excellent hourly rates – $67.00 – $72.00 per hour (casual).
• FIFO opportunities – flights provided from Perth only (no interstate).
• Weekly pays on a Thursday.
• Exposure to leading mining village operators and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work on mining village facilities and Perth-based projects.
• Ensure compliance with site safety standards & all legislation.
• Conduct routine testing, fault finding, and preventative maintenance.
• Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure operational efficiency across sites.
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out and report on equipment condition.

Mandatory Requirements

• WA Electrical Licence.
• Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician).
• Current Unrestricted Australian or WA Driver’s Licence.
• White Card.
• Australian CPR, First Aid
• Police Clearance (within 6 months).
• Ability to complete a full pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
• Unlimited Australian working rights.
• Must reside in Western Australia (international and interstate applicants not supported).

Highly Regarded

• Previous experience in mining camps, construction villages, or FIFO roles.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in remote and challenging environments.
