Our Opportunity

Are you passionate about delivering therapeutic support and case management? Join Cafs, a values-driven organisation as our Strengthening Connections Practitioner. This role sits within our Family Safety Team. As the Strengthening Connections Practitioner, you will Engage with adolescents and their families to assess and deliver services required to address violence in their homes and other concurrent issues that maybe present including risk identification. As well as develop individualised Family Action Plans for each family / participant that articulate agreed goals and bottom lines for the intervention and mitigate associated risks.

About You

We are looking for a motivated, values-driven individual with foundational experience in the family violence and or community services sector. The ideal candidate will thrive when working autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic team.

Skills & Attributes

  • Bachelor Qualification in Social Work or related discipline.
  • Awareness of the drivers of family violence and the developmental needs of children
  • Client- Focused ? Foundational- Be responsive to client needs, understanding their vulnerabilities and maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Knowledge of client and community issues and risks- Foundational - Maintain basic awareness of community issues and the service offerings of other relevant organisations, while undertaking risk assessments for clients.

We provide over 50 programs across a range of service areas providing care for clients within communities across the central highland region.
