The Company

Our client is a Heavy Equipment Maintenance and Mine Services company that has been operating for over 5 years in the Western Australian mining sector. Due to substantial growth, our client is seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Boiler Maker to join their highly experienced team to work in a Field Service Role, with multiple roster options available.

The Role

Working in the across multiple sites in Western Australia, the Boiler Maker will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of CAT, KOMATSU, HITACHI, and VOLVO equipment including but not limited to excavators, drills, trucks and graders. The successful applicant will be offered remuneration based on experience. Field Service Ute provided. Interstate applicants will be considered for this role.

The Candidate

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and reliable Boiler Maker with at least 2 years of experience on Heavy Machinery, with a minimum of 1 year in a FIFO/remote role.

A Trade Qualification is required for this role.

Essential Criteria

Possess a Valid Australian C Class Drivers Licence

Police Clearance must be provided for this role

Recent experience working on CAT, KOMATSU, HITACHI, and VOLVO equipment

Is seeking ongoing employment

Is physically fit and able to carry out physical tasks regularly

Ability to pass ongoing Drug & Alcohol Screens

Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical

Ability to provide a current Police Clearance

Full Working Rights in Australia

Additional Criteria

At least 1 year’s experience working on mine sites on a FIFO basis

Has a strong work history where you have a proven track record of staying at jobs long term

Must take pride in maintaining a high standard of housekeeping within workshop, vehicles and equipment

Have a strong work ethic with a positive attitude where you are considered very reliable and considered by others as a hard worker

Safety conscious with the ability to work unsupervised

Must be able to complete Company & Client Inductions

Working Days & Hours

Multiple Rosters Available

11.5 hours paid, 30-minute unpaid lunchbreak)

Remuneration

This role is a permanent position, employed on a casual basis where a successful candidate has the potential to be signed onto our client’s books as a full time / permanent employee.

Depending on experience the pay rates will be between:

Casual Pay Rate: $60.00 to $70.00 Per Hour (Flat)

+ Super on all working hours
