We are currently seeking motivated Laboratory Technicians and Assistants to support FIFO mining operations across Western Australia and beyond. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy variety, hands-on work, and the challenge of living and working on site in a dynamic mining environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Preparing, processing, and testing geological, mineral, or environmental samples in a laboratory setting

Following strict QA/QC protocols to ensure accuracy and reliability of results

Using laboratory equipment such as crushers, pulverisers, balances, and analytical instruments

Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment

Working closely with site-based teams and supervisors to deliver timely results

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a laboratory environment (mining, minerals, or environmental labs highly regarded)

Minimum of 6 months laboratory experience required

A strong focus on safety and attention to detail

Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a rostered FIFO environment

Good physical fitness and willingness to get hands-on with samples and equipment

Moderate fitness level required to handle equipment and samples

Cert III/IV in Laboratory Skills or relevant qualifications (advantageous but not essential)

Australian work rights required for this position
