About the Client
Our Client is a well-respected leader in the manufacturing industry, specialising in galvanizing and steel production. With a strong focus on quality and safety, they provide a supportive environment where employees can grow and develop their skills. They are currently seeking motivated workers to join their team in Narangba on afternoon shift.

What you will be doing
As a Production Worker with Forklift responsibilities, you will be responsible for the below duties:

Operating forklifts to move steel around the yard, load and unload materials

Grinding, cutting, filing, rotating plates, packing, and general workshop duties

Working within the jigging and fettling areas of the plant

Handling steel products in hot and fast-paced environments

Assisting in the spin plant: dipping galvanized steel into chemicals, unloading/loading steel plates by hand, palletising, and moving pallets into the yard with the forklift

Working as part of a team of 5–6 in a high-output section of the plant

What you will need
To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:

Previous industrial manufacturing/workshop experience

Current High Risk Forklift Licence with proven operating experience

Ability to work in hot, fast-paced environments around heavy equipment and mobile plant

Physically fit and capable of manual handling and repetitive tasks

Strong attention to detail and reliability

Current driver’s licence and reliable transport

Ability to pass PEM/DAS testing
