An essential requirement for this role is professional proficiency in a language other than English (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese, Filipino) to provide culturally and linguistically sensitive psychological services to our varied client base.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide culturally responsive, evidence-based mental health services to a diverse client caseload, including individuals from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds.
Offer trauma-informed therapeutic support to children, adolescents, and adults.
For psychologists, conduct psychological and mental health assessments (e.g., for ADHD, Autism, as well as cognitive and educational assessments).
Champion and provide neurodiversity-affirming therapeutic approaches, partnering with autistic and ADHD clients/and or their parents/carers to achieve their goals.
Support clients with a variety of mental health presentations including trauma-related experiences, anxiety, and depression.
Develop collaborative, evidence-based, and client-led treatment plans.
Engage and collaborate within our supportive, multidisciplinary team environment.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and documentation.

Full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist OR accreditation with AASW as a Mental Health Social Worker OR registration with AHPRA as a Credentialed Mental Health Nurse.
Professional proficiency in a language other than English (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese, Filipino) is essential for this role.
A current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
A current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
A National Police Check

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
While not essential, experience in the following areas will be highly regarded:
Supporting individuals with trauma histories (e.g., PTSD).
ADHD-affirming strategies and support.
Therapeutic approaches that support autistic individuals.
Supporting individuals experiencing anxiety.
Evidence-based practices incorporating neuroscience and attachment theory.
Therapeutic approaches that explore the mind-body connection.
Psychological assessment and report writing.
