We’re seeking energetic and reliable Nursery Hand(s) for year-round work, with increased demand during our busy Spring and Autumn seasons. This hands-on role involves physical, outdoor work in all weather conditions—perfect for those who love plants and don’t mind getting their hands dirty!

The Role

As a Nursery Hand, you’ll contribute to our daily operations, including:

Potting plant seedlings into various pot sizes.

Weeding, clearing and relocating stock to maintain an organized nursery.

Picking and packing orders with care and efficiency for timely dispatch.

Assisting with other general nursery tasks as needed.

Position Details

Location: Callington, South Australia

Hours: estimated 30-37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm (flexible start/finish times can be negotiated).

Employment Type: Casual

Start Date: Immediate

Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on the Nursery Award

About You

Physically fit and capable of meeting the manual requirements of the position.

Positive, reliable, and able to work independently or collaboratively within a small team.

Enthusiastic about plants; prior horticulture experience is a bonus but not essential

Previous experience in a fast-paced hands on role

Valid and unrestricted driver’s license and own transport preferred due to our rural location.

Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
