Overview

Working with one of our major glasshouse growers, known for providing delicious fruits and vegetables to families across Australia you will contribute to the team as a Glasshouse Picker (Day Shift 6am - 2pm but can vary slightly, Monday to Friday) Hort Award with the casual rate of $30.45 per hour.

About the Position:

You will see yourself picking, deleafing and vine training tomatoes and qukes

Crop care duties

What We’re Looking For:

Ability to work in hot, humid conditions

Ability to work autonomously and within a team

Strong focus on maintaining quality and accuracy in all tasks

Demonstrated safety record

Demonstrated English language and numeracy proficiency

Ability to follow guidelines and instructions

Good communication skills to contribute positively, report issues and coordinate with the team

Demonstrated knowledge of operating safely in an agricultural environment and adhering to WHSE requirements.

Workers must demonstrate the ability to get to work each day using their own transport as no public transport is available near the work location.
