Casual Educator – St Mary’s OSHC, Beaudesert

We are seeking to appoint a casual Educator (Children’s Services Employee) at St Mary's OSHC based at Beaudesert.

At St Mary's Outside School Hours Care we provide before school care, after school care and vacation care to up to 60 children.

A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator:

• Provide nurturing care and support for children
• Create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment
• Plan and deliver fun, inclusive recreational and educational activities
• Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Collaborate with a supportive team to achieve the best outcomes for children

Job Requirements:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines would be desirable but not essential
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
