We are seeking English and maths tutors to join our team!

Education Nation is a tutoring centre in Cranbourne West that tutors students from prep to year 12. We offer a competitive pay of $35 per hour plus super. Tutors are allocated to year levels based on the tutor’s ability, experience and comfort level. We provide all the lesson plans and teaching materials.

Our goal is to make lessons easy to teach while at the same time facilitating efficient, effective, and permanent learning. Each class has a maximum of four students; tutors will teach the same group at the same time every week. Our classes run from 4 pm to 9 pm Monday to Friday, and from 9 am to 5 pm Saturday and Sunday. Tutors can choose time slots suitable for their availability.

Responsibilities include:
-Providing group tutoring to primary or secondary school students using lesson plans, PowerPoints, and theory sheets that we provide.
-Assessing student progress, correcting work, and providing feedback.
-Instilling and encouraging a growth mindset in children.

Employment Criteria: -Proficiency in English
-A bachelor’s degree or a bachelor’s degree is in progress.
-Working with Children Check.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Tutoring or teaching experience.
