About My Role
As a Coordinator at Northcott, I am responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Group Services. I ensure that our customers receive high-quality support aligned with the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework.
In this role, I provide practice leadership to staff, promote open communication, and foster a cohesive and supportive team culture. I bring a strong sense of self-reflection, resilience, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
On a day-to-day basis, I will:
- Coordinate the Everyday Life Skills, Work and Study, Adult and Teen Recreation, and School Holidays programs
- Deliver program outcomes aligned with customer goals
- Prioritise and balance the needs of customers and the staff team
- Nurture and maintain strong relationships with customers, families, and the team
- Identify, assess, and resolve issues using a person-centred approach
- Proactively train the team to ensure the highest standard of customer outcomes
- Review and update rosters, support Policy and Procedure compliance, and manage reporting requirements
In this role, I will:
- Apply my tertiary qualification in Social Science, Disability, Recreation, or a related field
- Foster a strong customer focus and help the team understand customers’ perspectives
- Identify and explore solutions to barriers limiting customer potential
- Align decisions and work with business unit and organisational objectives
- Prioritise and plan daily, weekly, monthly, and annual tasks to meet customer and team goals
- Lead a high-performing team across multiple programs, encouraging innovation and empowering new approaches to challenges
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of NDIS standards, Workplace Health & Safety, and the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework.
- Effectively manage competing priorities, targets, KPIs, and business objectives.
