We work in the complex psychosocial space of the NDIS and do not provide personal care or feeding services. Traditionally called 'Support Worker' Our participant mentorship focuses on providing personalised guidance and support around the clock.
As a Participant Mentor you’ll play a vital role in guiding individuals through their journey toward independence, resilience, and personal growth. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team to provide trauma-informed, strengths-based support tailored to each participant’s unique needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support to participants in their daily activities, including household tasks, meal preparation, and medication administration.
Assist participants in developing and achieving their individualized support plans and goals.
Foster a positive and supportive relationship with participants, promoting their autonomy and decision-making.
Encourage skill-building and independence among participants through various activities and exercises.
Implement and follow behaviour support plans and strategies when required.
Collaborate with the participant's team to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Maintain clear and effective communication with participants, their families, and the broader support team.
Document participant progress, incidents, and any changes in their support needs.
Report concerns or issues promptly to the Team Leader or appropriate supervisor.
Always ensure the safety and well-being of participants.
Follow established safety protocols and procedures, including infection control, medication management, and emergency response.
Be aware of potential risks and take proactive steps to prevent accidents or incident
Collaborate with colleagues and the Team Leader to ensure consistent and coordinated support delivery.
Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions on participant progress and program development.
A Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or a related field is Mandatory.
Experience in disability support or a similar role is advantageous.
Leadership, Inspiration, and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A commitment to the principles of person-centred care and individual choice.
