Role:

Jones Welding Solutions are recruiting for an Experienced Rigger. We have a long-term contract for ongoing maintenance and shutdown works servicing South 32 refinery in the Southwest region.

We are looking for individuals with refinery and fixed plant experience who thrive on working in team environments and developing collectively.

Role Available:

Nightshift: Mon – Thursday 12-hour shifts

The successful applicant will have:

Valid Driving License

HRWL – RB/RI, DG & EWP

Working at Heights (within 2 years)

Confined Space (within 2 years)

Construction Induction Card (White or Blue card)

Ability to pass a pre-employment and site medical testing

Key Responsibilities include:

Safety set up and operate rigging gear (chains, slings, pulleys, hoists and cranes)

Plan and execute lifting operations for heavy machinery and equipment during maintenance or installation.

Select appropriate rigging equipment based on load type, weight and environmental conditions.

Conduct pre-use inspections of rigging tools and lifting gear to ensure safety and compliance.
