A great opportunity has emerged to join one of the largest print and services suppliers to the Sydney Real Estate industry. As our business continues to grow , we have a permanent position available for an experienced Team Leader to oversee our Signboard Production team .

This position is a hands on role that will lead the preperation & assembly day shift team.

Immediate start.

You will be required to lead a small team in the making and building of signboards. Jobs include stapling, screwing, laminating, mounting & painting.

Reporting to the Production Manager your primary objective will be to lead and mentor your team to achieve and exceed productivity targets. You will manage the day to day activities of the day shift and will be expected to work alongside your team.

Strong team leadership skills along with personal organisational and communication skills are a must along with punctuality and reliability

Responsibilities

· Ensure that operational plans for all products are achieved to product specifications on time and in full meeting expectations

· Oversee quality control and raise/help resolve quality issues as they arise.

· Ensuring that a safe work environment is maintained

· Maintain stock levels in line with company guidelines and requirements

· Liaise with managers and supervisors within the organisation.

The successful candidate:

· will be capable of working in a deadline driven environment

· have ability to use power tools

· have some carpentry knowledge

· be experienced in physicle work

· have a good eye for detail

· will have "can do" attitude

Position is Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm

Street parking available, alternatively we are located near bus routes, light rail and Lewisham Train Station.
