About the Role

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from Scaffolders for regular ongoing work in our Geraldton workshop. This is a full-time permanent position.

Geraldton is a coastal city in the Midwest region of Western Australia. With a beautiful Mediterranean climate and a stunning coastline, it makes for the perfect work/life balance.

Duties

Ensure achievement of maintenance goals to maximise plant and equipment availability;

Set up and adjust metalworking machines and equipment and operate machines to produce parts or tools;

Mark the shape and dimensions of a part to be machined by studying blueprints and using measuring instruments;

Assemble and fit machined parts using drill holes and tap threads, if necessary, for bolting parts together;

Manufacture, repair and fault-find hydraulic and pneumatic equipment;

Operate powered machines that may be manually or computer controlled;

Erect machinery and equipment on site as required; and inspect machinery regularly and make any adjustments or repairs as required.

Skills and Experience:

Essential Criteria (what's required):

High Risk Work Licence - SI, SA Tickets.

Minimum 2 years' experience

Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Ability to work well in a team in remote areas

Strong commitment towards safety and quality

Motivated and hardworking with a professional attitude

Company and customer focused based

Hold a current manual driver's license

Forklift and EWP are desirable however not essential

Ability to pass a medical and D&A screen

Guaranteed annual earnings: AUD70,000 to AUD100,000 plus superannuation per annum.
