About the Role:
This full-time position is ideal for an intermediate accountant looking to broaden their experience within a dynamic Business Services & Tax team. You'll work with a wide range of small-to-medium businesses and high-profile clients, contributing to both compliance and advisory work.

Prepare financial statements and manage tax compliance for a range of clients including SMEs and family businesses

Tax return lodgments, BAS, IAS and regulatory reporting

Ensure compliance around the various tax matters - GST, CGT, FBT, Div7a and Trust Distributions

Identify tax planning opportunities and support tailored strategies for client growth

Work closely with senior staff to deliver advisory services aligned with client needs

Build strong client relationships through clear and timely communication

Contribute to team development by assisting and mentoring junior staff

Requirements:

Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a public practice environment

Degree qualifications in Accounting, Business or any relevance

CA/CPA studies commenced or soon to commence

Strong technical knowledge in tax and accounting compliance

Excellent time management and attention to detail

Experience with Xero or MYOB is highly regarded
