SBC is a leading provider of Enterprise Management Solutions for claims management, OH&S, insurance, risk management and case management systems in Australia. With offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sunshine Coast and Auckland and installed systems throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific, we are seeking motivated staff to join our existing research and development team to help implement a number of major new systems for large Australian corporations and government agencies.

The role:

We are seeking a Graduate .NET Software Engineer to join our web application development team located in Brisbane. This role would suit a recent University graduate. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced team to deliver enterprise web solutions.

The key activities for the role are:

Development and integration of web applications to meet customer requirements.

Contribute to our DevOps environment.

Work on project for some of Australia’s largest companies and government agencies.

Contribute to our Research and Development projects.

Support and enhance existing applications.

You will get to work on some of the largest application systems within Australia whilst developing your skills in a range of technologies including:

C#, ASP.NET, Bootstrap, Web API

Microsoft SQL Server.

Key Selection Criteria

Degree in Computing Science, Information Technology or equivalent.

Knowledge of object orientated design principles.

Exposure to the development of software with .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET WebForms and Bootstrap.

Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle.

Ability to work in a team environment or work independently.

Ability to effectively communicate with fellow team members.

Willingness to learn new concepts, ideas and technologies.

Exposure to development in other web technologies, including React Native mobility.
