The Role:

TMS are seeking an experienced Advance Steel Detailer to join our team on a casual basis for a period of 2-3 months with the possibility of extension depending on project and workload requirements. Experience in Structural, Mechanical & Piping Fabrication Drawings.

Your Responsibilities:

Preparing design and shop detailed work with Advanced Steel.

Working independently and as part of a team; as well as directly with a fabrication workshop & clients.

Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.

Work hours are above standard required for Full-Time and are paid hours.

What we are looking for:

Proven drafting experience (fabrication / engineering background preferred).

Experienced Advanced Steel user, with sound knowledge in Management Tools and Drawing Styles & Processes.

Experience in Revit advantageous.

Strong work ethic & ability to work unsupervised.

High attention to detail, accuracy & confidentiality.

Analytical, critical thinking & problem-solving abilities.

Ability to liaise with clients and suppliers in a professional manner.

Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a medium to large sized fabrication company.

Trade background preferred but not essential.

Hold a current Drivers Licence.

Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug & Alcohol Screen.
