About the Role
Minemec Diesel Services is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Diesel Fitter with proven experience in crushing and screening equipment to join our team on a casual basis with the opportunity to go full time. This FIFO/DIDO role is based in the Goldfields, Western Australia.
You'll be working hands-on with jaw crushers, cone crushers, screens, conveyors, and late-model earthmoving equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for our clients' operations.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on mobile crushing, screening and late model earthmoving equipment.
Perform component changeouts and fault diagnosis.
Work with jaw crushers, cone crushers, screens, and conveyors.
Provide field service across client mine and quarry sites.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to coordinate repair schedules and prioritise work.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
Follow all safety protocols and compliance procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
What We're Looking For
Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic with at least 5 years of experience, preferably in the mining industry.
Essential: Hands-on experience with jaw and cone crushers, screens, and conveyors.
Strong mechanical diagnostics and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Willingness to work a FIFO/DIDO day/nights roster with a minimum 2:1 schedule.
Immediate Start available.
Current driver's licence (HR preferred).
Ability to pass a pre employment medical and drug/alcohol screening (Lab-Das)
Provide a current National Police Clearance
