Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Physiotherapist who is ready for a new adventure.
About the role:
The Physiotherapy department at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital is looking for a hardworking, experienced and team-oriented Senior Physiotherapist.
The Orthopaedic/Generalist Physiotherapist will primarily be responsible for providing care to patients admitted to the orthopaedic/surgical unit, day surgical unit, and outpatient fracture clinic. This may include reviewing patients D0 following elective surgery after regular business hours.
Other responsibilities include providing clinical expertise to upskill others, supervising level 1/ 2 physiotherapists and physiotherapy students, and project implementation. Our Physiotherapy team consists of around 20 Physiotherapists who play a crucial role in the hospital and community settings.

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current registration with AHPRA.
Ability to work autonomously as well as within a large multidisciplinary team.
Advanced clinical knowledge, skills and experience, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice.
Excellence in communication skills including negotiation, decision making, advocacy, and the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
