- Base Salary Range: $71,217 - $106,330 p.a
- In addition to base salary, this position attracts Superannuation, Leave Loading and Salary Sacrificing Benefits (salary packaging).

Allied and Community Health Service
Our Allied and Community Health Teams are multi-disciplinary teams who work together towards the common goal of improving health outcomes of our community members. Services are based in Port Augusta and Whyalla, with regular outreach clinics held in Roxby Downs, Quorn, Hawker, Maree and Leigh Creek. We offer a wide range of centre-based, in-home and community-based services to people of all ages and tailor our services to best meet our client needs. About the Role:
Under the guidance of a Clinical Senior Physiotherapist, the Physiotherapist (AHP1) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care tailored to the needs of the local community. Working as part of a supportive, multi-professional team, you’ll contribute to prevention, early intervention, treatment, and evaluation strategies that make a real difference in people’s lives.
As a Physiotherapist (AHP2) they will draw on their advanced clinical knowledge and growing expertise to plan, deliver, and evaluate a wide range of services with greater independence. Working under reduced clinical direction, you’ll also contribute to the supervision of less experienced staff, allied health assistants, and students, helping to build future capability. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate across sectors, applying a holistic approach to care that enhances health outcomes and strengthens community well-being.

About You:
AHP1
- Must hold a recognised qualification within the relevant allied health profession and be eligible for full membership of the relevant allied health Professional Association. For those disciplines requiring Registration, all requirements to maintain current registration must be fulfilled. For self-regulated professions it is desirable to participate in the professional associations accredited continuous professional development program.
- Deliver a broad range of clinical services using established methods and procedures.
- Apply professional judgment within defined areas, with guidance from a Clinical Senior as needed.
- Provide clinical care through individual sessions, group programs, and health promotion activities.
- Effectively manage and prioritise personal workload.
AHP2
- Must hold a recognised qualification within a relevant Allied Health profession and be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association. For those professions requiring Registration, all requirements to obtain and maintain current registration must be fulfilled. For self-regulated professions it is desirable to participate in the professional association accredited continuing professional development program.
- Apply professional expertise and clinical competence to support diverse client groups with complex need.
- Exercise sound judgment in adapting established methods and procedures.
- Deliver a mix of clinical and consultative services, including individual, group, and health promotion activities.
- Manage and prioritise personal workload effectively.
- Support others in developing workload management plans and allocating team resources.
