Responsibilities

• Lead a global team of test engineers focussing on verification and validation of safety-critical systems.
• Implement test strategies, plans and methodologies aligned with ISO 13849, IEC 61508 & ISO 26262 compliance requirements.
• Oversee test design, automation, execution, and defect management for embedded and application-level software.
• Ensure validation of safety-related software components, including hardware-software integration testing.
• Implement test automation tools, continuous integration/continuous testing (CI/CT) pipelines, and metrics dashboard.

Your Background/Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in software testing including 5 years in a leadership role.
• Solid Demonstrated experience in testing safety-critical systems in line with ISO 13849, IEC 61508 and ISO 26262.
• Extensive experience in embedded systems, control software and safety validation.
• Extensive experience with test management and requirement tools (DOORS, Polarion, Jira, ALM)
• Strong background in test automation, CI/CD, and safety validation tools.
• Extensive knowledge of model-based testing – HIL and SIL testing environments.
