Located in, Cooma NSW, and the unique landscape of the Snowy Monaro region, our school is set within reach of Canberra, the NSW ski fields and the south coast of NSW, and part of a culturally diverse region. The school was established in 1997 and is a ministry of Cooma Baptist Church, providing an excellent Christ-focused education to the Snowy-Monaro Region.

The successful candidate will:

Be a committed Christian with a strong personal faith and a deep understanding of Christian education

Demonstrate proven leadership in educational settings, a small school environment, with the ability to guide the school into its next chapter

Inspire and support staff, students, and families through servant leadership, integrity, and a heart for community

Bring a forward-thinking approach to educational excellence, innovation, and school growth and have experience in change management to maximise outcomes for staff and students

Support the mission and values of Snowy Mountains Christian School

Demonstrate strong relational, interpersonal, communication, strategic thinking and organisational skills

Demonstrate an understanding of all elements of school leadership, which is required to successfully manage communication, finances, risk, human resources, and compliance.
