THE ROLE

Paediatric and Aged Care Occupational Therapy

The successful candidate will be working full-time in the community. A typical day-to-day role of a community therapist will involve:

Assessing client function and communicating client needs through detailed reports.

Communicate identified needs with the client, families, and providers and appropriate referrals to the relevant Health Professional / Specialist.

Prescription of appropriate equipment / adaptive aids as well as home modifications depending on your scope of practice.

Ongoing and regular therapies

Working collaboratively within an Allied health team.

Continuously review current treatment plans and adjust accordingly.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 1-3 years experience within the NDIS Paediatric sector

A commitment to learning, growth, and teamwork.

A passion for providing quality care in the Paediatric NDIS community sectors

Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Occupational Therapy

Current AHPRA registration

Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance

Valid Police Check and Working with Children’s Check

Current driver’s license
