About the Opportunity

The Ord Valley Aboriginal Health Service (OVAHS) now has a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and community-focused Tackling Indigenous Smoking (TIS) Educator to join their dedicated team in Kununurra, WA on a full-time basis.

In this role, you will work closely with individuals, families, schools, and community groups to deliver engaging education and awareness campaigns. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote smoke-free environments, support quit-smoking strategies, and champion healthy lifestyle choices across the East Kimberley region.

Your work will be grounded in respect, cultural safety, and community connection, helping to create real change and support long-term health outcomes. Whether through school visits, community events, or one-on-one conversations, your impact will be felt and appreciated.

Due to the nature of the TIS Educator, you must identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander as per Section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA).
