About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Installer to join our team at migdesign in Welland, South Australia. This is a full-time role, where you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinets and furniture for our residential and commercial clients.

What you'll be doing

Installing custom cabinets, vanities, and other furniture pieces

Operating a variety of woodworking machinery and tools with precision and care

Selecting and preparing materials, ensuring efficient use of resources

Communicating with clients to understand their needs and preferences

Collaborating with the design team to bring their visions to life

Ensuring all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations

Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment

What we're looking for

Formal training in cabinet making or a related trade, such as a Certificate III in Cabinet Making

Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Cabinet Maker, preferably in a custom or high-end furniture workshop

Excellent woodworking skills, including proficiency in the use of power tools and traditional hand tools

Strong attention to detail, with the ability to interpret design plans and specifications

Commitment to producing high-quality work and delivering exceptional customer service

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other tradespeople

Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
