The Oaks Aged Care Facility is an inviting comfortably appointed 39 bed facility located a short drive from the outskirts of Mount Gambier (Yahl, South Australia) providing residential aged care to our residents. Country at heart, the Oaks offers a true community spirit to those who call it home.

About you

Must have Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)

Current NDIS Worker Check or willing to obtain one. Police check accepted until NDIS Worker Check can be provided.

Adaptable, keen and able to work as part of a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal kills

Experience an advantage, but not essential

Tasks & responsibilities

Responsible for providing quality care to our residents including being responsive to reporting incidents and changes in residents behaviours to the Registered Nurse.

Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high standards of care.

Full working rights in Australia is a must

Highly desirable to be able to cover a variety of shifts, including nights.

Establishing positive relationships with our residents and working collaboratively within a team environment with an attitude of respect and integrity with a "can do" approach.
