Your new role as Nursing Unit Manager, Cardiac Catheter Lab, Gosford Private Hospital

Gosford Private Hospital is currently recruiting for a full time Nursing Unit Manager for the Cardiac Catheter Lab. We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated manager to co-ordinate and manage two interventional cardiac and vascular procedure labs.

The Nursing Unit Manager forms an integral part of the leadership group at Gosford Private and therefore we are seeking experienced applicants who can work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, to ensure optimal outcomes for patients, and the highest level of consumer satisfaction. Engaging with key stakeholders, the manager is required to co-ordinate sessional VMO activity and appropriate staffing within both labs. Previous experience in management is essential, as well as a strong clinical background in interventional cardiology.

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships amongst all key stakeholders. The successful applicant will also possess strong communication skills and proven effective leadership experience.

About you:

To ensure your success, you will have:

Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities

Proven leadership and management skills

Previous experience in a Private Hospital setting

Proven abilities to manage large teams within set financial parameters

Clinical experience in interventional Cardiac and Vascular Nursing

Current AHPRA registration, up to date Working With Children Check for paid employment, and current police check dated no more than three months prior to commencement.
