Riverside Recruitment have partnered with a boutique accounting firm in Brisbane's inner suburbs to recruit a future Director and equity holder to join the firm. The firm is 10 years old, they currently have 3 equity Directors and 20 staff. They have an outstanding reputation in the Brisbane market for not only their business services offering but their specialist tax offering to multinational businesses. Having recently transitioned over to Xero Practice Manager, the firm are utilising modern technologies and are always updating their systems and processes.

About the role

Joining as an Associate Director, you will become part of the leadership team, manage a set fee base (approx $800k initially) and lead and mentor junior, intermediate and senior accountants. Your client base will include high net worth individuals, SMEs and larger private businesses where the average fee size is $15k - $50k per year and there are some larger businesses too.

Partnership opportunity within 12 months

The firm is looking to take on a 4th Director within 12-24 months. This is an opportunity for someone who is looking to become an equity Partner - financials will be provided on request.

Experience required

We are looking to speak to individuals with demonstrated experience in a public practice accounting firm at either the Manager, Senior Manager or Associate Director level. Ideally you will be a CA or CPA, be interested in working towards your tax agent license, have experience with larger clients >$10m turnover and experience managing teams.
