About the firm

We have partnered with a boutique accounting firm in Brisbane to recruit an experienced Manager to join their team. The firm have 5 staff, use modern systems including XPM and FYI docs, they utilise AI tools and automation and enjoy fully flexible working from home.

About the role

The successful candidate will manage $800k in fees (90% business clients $2m - $30m turnover), lead an offshore team of 3 staff, manage all workflow management and job budgets and be the first point of contact for all clients.

Experience required

Demonstrated experience working as a Manager in an accounting firm

Someone who has managed their own fee base previously

Experience reviewing work including tax returns, financial statements and BAS

Experience managing workflows and productivity

Confident with clients and able to run tax planning meetings and any additional advisory services including cash flow forecasting and management reporting

CA/CPA preferred

Please note, only those with full working rights (Citizen or PR) and experience as a Manager in an accounting firm (business services & tax) will be shortlisted for the role.

$140,000 - $155,000 package depending on experience
