The Role:
We are seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals for the role of Multi-Skilled Operator across muliple sites in South Brisbane. This role is designed for a versatile professional capable of operating a range of machinery and performing various tasks across multiple functions within the operations team. The Multi-Skilled Operator will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and smooth running of day-to-day operations. They must be flexible, responsive to dynamic needs, and capable of managing various equipment while ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of machinery and equipment, primarily excavators (5tn-30tn), front-end loaders and skid steer as required for operational needs.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting materials, ensuring adherence to operational timelines.
• Support site activities including excavation, material handling, and other tasks as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and contribute to the continuous improvement of safety practices on-site.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are stored correctly after use.
• Assist in various tasks across different departments as directed by the operational supervisor, providing flexible support where required.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment.
• Strong technical skills in maintaining and troubleshooting machinery.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing operational demands and tasks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license and certifications for operating relevant machinery.
