Our client is a highly regarded player in the commercial construction industry, known for delivering high-quality projects and cultivating a supportive, progressive workplace culture. They are now seeking an experienced and confident HR Advisor to join their team in a key generalist role.

With continued growth and a focus on building internal capability, they’re now looking for a confident HR Coordinator or HR Advisor ready to take the next step in their HR career.
About the Role
This is a true generalist, standalone HR Advisor role, reporting to the Executive Assistant and working closely with the Managing Director and broader leadership team.
You’ll be responsible for driving HR operations across the full employee lifecycle, supporting compliance, culture, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
Provide advice on policies, awards, and workplace legislation
Support employee relations, grievance handling, and performance matters
Maintain and optimise use of Employment Hero (HRIS)
Develop and implement a structured annual leave strategy
Ensure compliance with Fair Work Act, WHS, and internal policies
Support performance reviews, development plans and L&D initiatives
Act as Return to Work Coordinator and assist with WHS programs
Assist with internal communications and culture-building activities
About You
You may not have held the "Advisor" title yet, but if you’ve been operating at that level and you're ready for more ownership, this is your chance.
We’re looking for someone who is confident, proactive, and people-focused.
You’ll need:
2+ years in a HR, P&C or recruitment role
Solid knowledge of employment law and the Fair Work Act
Experience in blue-collar or construction environments (ideal but not essential)
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust at all levels
Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline
Experience with Employment Hero is highly regarded
