About the role
The Director Infrastructure will be responsible for delivering vital infrastructure from roads and facilities to waste management.

Duties

• Lead and manage the Infrastructure and Operations team delivering capital projects and town/facility maintenance.
• Provide strategic leadership and support to the General Manager and Council, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and budgets.
• Oversee asset management systems, long-term planning, and operational services including waste management.
• Manage contractors, consultants, and resources to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Build strong relationships with contractors, consultants, the community, and internal teams to deliver outcomes.

Skills & experience

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or Leadership.
• Proven leadership in managing diverse teams and delivering complex projects under budget and time constraints.
• 5 - 10 years experience in long-term asset management planning and operational management.
• Strong financial management capabilities including budgeting and cost control.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to inspire and collaborate effectively.
