Experience and skills needed: AG Trusses is seeking a Physically fit individual that works well with other team members and is willing to learn and apply themselves.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manufacturing frames & trusses to Australian Standards.

· Assembling and erecting wall frames & trusses.

· Repair, replace or adjust damaged or defective wood structures.

· Align, secure and fasten structural components to meet building codes.

· Operate and maintain carpentry tools, machinery and equipment safely.

· Read and interpret building plans, specifications.

· Measure, cut and shape timber or engineered wood to precise dimensions.

· Collaborate with builders, site supervisors and other trades.

· Maintain a clean, safe and compliant work environment

· Follow workplace health and safety and compliance standards at all times.

What you will need:

· Certificate III in Carpentry or Equivalent

· Minimum 3 years of work experience

· Capability to work on the tools

· Open communication style

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

· To act with integrity, be safe and do your best

· Have your own reliable transport

· Be physically fit

· Reliable and punctual

· Experience with hand and power tools

· Frame and truss experience preferred
