Role Overview

We’re seeking a skilled Stonemason / CNC / SAW Operator to join our workshop. This hybrid role requires both traditional stonemasonry experience and the ability to operate and program CNC machinery for natural stone fabrication.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

Trade qualification in stonemasonry or equivalent hands-on experience in stone fabrication

Proven experience using CNC stone machinery

Skilled in reading and interpreting plans, measurements, and CAD/CAM data .

Exceptional attention to detail and quality focus .

Strong problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and ability to adapt quickly .

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC machinery (Farnese sawjet ) to cut, shape, and polish stone with accuracy

Read and interpret plans, CAD drawings, and job orders to ensure precise fabrication.

Set up tooling, adjust machine settings, conduct quality checks, and troubleshoot minor issues to guarantee a high-quality finish

Fabricate stone benchtops and custom stone products for both residential and commercial projects

Conduct routine machine maintenance and follow OHS/safety protocols meticulously.
