FULL TIME Early Childhood Teacher - START TERM 4 2025

Monday to Friday 8:15am – 4:00pm

Salary $79,000 to $98,000 plus super and leave loading

The Role

BCRG Chester Hill Preschool is looking for an experienced, motivated, passionate, and fully qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our team starting in Term 4.

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you can demonstrate sound pedagogical knowledge, exceptional written & oral communication skills and the ability to develop respectful relationships with children, families, the community and engage educators being a positive, inclusive leader.

Our Preschool

BCRG is a non-profit, community-based organisation who have been providing supports to children and the community for over 35 years. BCRG Chester Hill Preschool was established in 2017, it has developed into a vibrant multicultural Preschool located on the grounds of Chester Hill Public School. We provide early education and care for children aged 3-5 years, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm. The Preschool is closed during school holidays. We have 2 classrooms and 40 children per day. Our educators are committed to providing a high standard of education and care. We promote the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children.

Our philosophy around programming and documentation is a focus on providing quality interactions and teaching moments. We promote visible and meaningful documentation of the children’s thinking, learning and development.

To be successful in this role you will need:

A recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree in Early Childhood or as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)

Teacher Accreditation through NESA

Prior experience working with children as a Teacher/Educational Leader within an early childhood service

A Current NSW Employee Working with Children Check

Federal Police Check

Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) and how they apply in NSW

Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)

Current Child Protection training and a strong understanding of your role as a Mandatory Reporter, and of Child Safe Standards.

A current First Aid certificate as approved by ACECQA along with current approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates

Professional level of English written and verbal communication skills

Computer literacy skills
