Locum Sonographer

Role Details

• Hours: An 8-hour shift within the core hours of 8 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday. You'll get a 30-minute lunch break and two 10-minute breaks. No weekend, after-hours, or on-call work required.
  
  
• Caseload: You'll manage your own patient list, with booking structures tailored to your skills. Obstetrics skills are essential for this role, while nuchal certification is preferred but not essential.
  
  
• Equipment: Work with a fleet of modern Philips Epiq ultrasound machines.
  
  
• Team: You'll work at a single clinic site alongside one other full-time Sonographer (at times, you may be the sole Sonographer), 1.5 full-time Radiographers, and two secretaries.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• ASAR accreditation and strong confidence in performing obstetrics scans independently.
  
  
• Nuchal certification is a bonus, but not a requirement.
  
  
• Experience with Visage and Inteleviewer is highly desirable.
  
  
• You will be doing digital reporting, so familiarity with Sonoreview is required.
  
  
• A valid National Police Check and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
