Locum Sonographer

Role Details

• Hours: An 8-hour shift within the core hours of 8 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday. You'll get a 30-minute lunch break and two 10-minute breaks. No weekend, after-hours, or on-call work required.
  
  
• Caseload: You'll manage your own patient list, with booking structures tailored to your skills. General sonography is a must, and Obstetrics skills are preferred but not essential.
  
  
• Equipment: The clinic has four ultrasound rooms across two sites and offers access to a range of high-end machines, including 2 x Philips Epiq, 1 x Canon Aplio i700, and 1 x Mindray.
  
  
• Team: You'll work across two clinic sites with a large and supportive team. This includes two other full-time Sonographers, a Breast Sonographer, five secretaries, and up to six Radiographers. A Radiologist is always on-site.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• ASAR-accredited and confident in managing a busy, diverse caseload.
  
  
• Nuchal certification is preferable but not essential.
  
  
• Experience with Visage and Inteleviewer is a plus.
  
  
• You will be doing digital reporting, so familiarity with Sono review is required.
  
  
• A valid National Police Check and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
