Capable and experienced Electrician / Traffic Signals Technician required for work with a traffic signals team based from a depot at Waratah.

To be suitable for this role, applicants will need to hold an Electrical Contractor Licence or a qualified Supervisor Certificate (Electrical). Electrician skills will be utilised on a daily basis. Construction and maintenance of traffic signals, and fault finding experience will give you a distinct advantage.

Whilst most of this work will be undertaken in the local region, there may be an occasional requirement to travel/camp away for up to a week at a time. Accommodation costs will be covered and applicable allowances paid.

This role will involve working full time hours of work (76 hours/fortnight), initially for a period of 3 months, with potential for further work beyond this time. A start of work ASAP is required.

Successful Applicants will need;

Electrical Contractor Licence or Supervisor Certificate (Electrical)

CPR/LVR

Unrestricted driver licence - HR or above advantageous but not essential

current WHS White Card - essential

good all round fitness for manual work tasks
