Haven is seeking team members to join our team who will take on a permanent part time role with suitable candidates available to work 3 up to 5 days per week.

The Role:

Haven is seeking educators with a 2 minimum year experience in the early childhood education and care sector to join our :

2-3 year old room to work alongside a team of 7 educators and up to 28 children per day.

Float across our 3 year old Kindergarten room (4 educators and up to 30 children) and our 4 year old Kindergarten room (3 educators and up to 22 children)

At Haven all rooms are rostered above ratio, with rooms covering their own breaks and ratio always being maintained. All rooms are staffed with permanent educators and consistent shift times, alongside individual indoor and outdoor spaces. Our Kindergarten programs provide quality education while being intertwined into our long day care setting so individuals will need a strong drive to promote play, education, learning and development.

The successful applicant will bring their own individuality to our team, showcasing their strengths and interacting with all families, children and team members in a friendly and professional manner. This will also include strong communication skills, professional knowledge and collaboration with all team members.

Requirements

Cert 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)

2+ year experience in early childhood education

Current Working with Children Check (employee)

Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Certificates

Mandatory Child Protection

Food Handler's Certificate
